No Doubt the world is in chaos at the moment. Between Covid and the devastating events in Afghanistan, it would appear Chaos is starting win. If you are human, chances are you are probably exhausted with all the chaos and heartache our world is experiencing. I wish I was able to somehow snap my fingers and make all things go back to "normal". The truth is, I can't, but I know who can. It is times like these that I am reminded of a great quote by Corrie Ten Boom. "There is no panic in Heaven, God has no problems on plans". I yield to you that it is hard to see His plans sometime and this is certainly a time when great faith is needed. I have lived long enough to know that Corrie's quote is true. My God has never let me down. With the chaos and threat of persecution of our Christian brothers and sisters in Afghanistan is heartbreaking, one truth gives me hope. The Gospel throughout time has and always will thrive in persecution. Let us as believers come together and trust God in this season and cover our brothers and sisters suffering persecution in prayer. Remember Psalm 18:31 "For who is God, but the Lord?
    And who is a rock, except our God? " Our Lord is God, and He is in control. Today an everyday He is our rock. Remember when the ship was being tossed, where did the disciples find Jesus? That's right, in the midst of the storm, He was resting. If we truly trust God, even in great chaos we can rest in His promise.
